The Grand Black War Mammoth grants their wielder the ability to summon an epic ground mount. The item has a very low drop chance.

This item drops from all the bosses in the Vault of Archavon on heroic mode. Drop rate is Extremely Low (1% - 2%)

Notes

Unlike the  [Traveler's Tundra Mammoth], the Grand Black War Mammoth does not carry any vendors, although it can still hold 2 passengers.

Patch changes

Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): This mount is no longer considered a vehicle.

• Now fully a mount, with fall damage, instant mount/dismount, and swimming ability.
