Background

Talvash del Kissel explains in the Alliance quest  [41] Lore for a Price^ω τ ϖ that he made the [Shattered Necklace] for the paladin, who then died in Uldaman. Talvash mentions that there were rumors that the paladin had been cursed by the necklace, thus sending the player on a quest to re-create the necklace and spread the word that he does not create cursed jewelry.

The paladin's remains are located close to the beginning of the instance on the northern side where the temple is split into four corridors (the paths with right angles) — it is in the latter half of this section.
