Gaudy, filthy and disorganized - just the way Goblins like it!

The Goblin Slums is the new district in Orgrimmar for the Goblins refugees of Kezan. It connects to the Valley of Spirits, and is an oily, dirty place - just the way the Goblins like it. In addition to class and profession trainers, the area has its own Innkeeper, Auctioneer, and Bankers.

The space now occupied by the Goblin Slums was occupied by the Valley of Spirits in the pre-Shattering map of Orgrimmar. The Valley has since been moved north, to the once-empty corridor between Orgrimmar and Ashenvale. The slums are presided over by Boss Mida, who was added as a result of the Trade Princess Movement. Off-duty Goblins can be found lounging around the pool area as well as waiting in line to withdraw their money from the bank, and off-duty Orgrimmar Grunts join them to converse and tell jokes. For the most part, however, the area is exclusively Goblin.

There appears to be an oil-drilling operation within the lake, overseen by Environmental Engineer Linza; the surrounding area is filthy, with the pollution flowing downstream to the new Valley of Spirits. In addition to Toads and the Goblins' Robo-Chicks, the Goblin Slums are home to an endemic critter, the Inv misc fish 14 [Muddy Crawfish]. The balloon floating over the slums may be related to the Horde quests in Stonetalon Mountains, although its exact purpose is unclear.
