Rethban Ore is a quest item used in the Alliance quest Rethban Ore, and is technically speaking not really an ingredient.

This item is found in a series of caves north-west of Lakeshire in the Redridge Mountains called the Rethban Caverns. These caves are currently infested by gnolls who are mining the ore. Rethban Ore is named after Bart Rethban, who found it. The ore is not as strong as iron, but is used by some scribes in their dyes, as it doesn't run or smear and dries very quickly.
