- But, ultimately, the problem is that all the other trolls are named except him, so we don't really have any way to solidly identify him. He could be Zul, or he could be Rastakhan, and while I feel one is more likely than the other I also feel that there's sufficient ambiguity that it could go either way. As of the Patch 4.1 notes, we know that the Zandalari are now being led by the prophet Zul, NOT Rastakhan. Since Zul is now leading the Zandalar, it wouldn't make sense for Rastakhan to represent them at the meeting, would it? - We know that Zul has a strong influence on the Zandalari; we DON'T know where Rastakhan is involved in all of this. He may no longer be in charge, or he may be under Zul's influence himself. Ultimately, the troll in the trailer is never identified and there are arguments that can be made for both sides. - If you follow the conversation Vol'jin has in Ghostlands outside Zul'Aman, he mentions "King Rastakhan, he be plannin' to unite da troll tribes under his Zandalari" and "Rastakhan be callin' me his brother, but da Horde be our true brothers". - This has no basis in any inside knowledge but how do we know Zul isn't Deathwing or some other powerful non-troll agent. Whats going on here isn't wholely unlike what Deathwing did during Day of the Dragon to the Alliance of Lordaeron. - While true, that is ultimately somewhat irrelevant for the discussion at hand. If the figure in the trailer is supposed to be Rastakhan it's a moot point, and if it's supposed to be Zul it doesn't matter if Zul if someone else in disguise because it's still Zul. -- Dark T Zeratul (talk) 22:22, 27 April 2011 (UTC)
- Fair enough, Anyone in WoW who is a "mysterious prophet" I wonder if they are who they say they are. But I tend to think with the thought this person is most likely Rastakhan who else do we know what would get this kinda of respect. The "Mysterious prophet" Zul not withstanding. My 2 Cents

The troll is Rastakhan: The troll called all of there trolls his brothers and did call out to Vol'jin when he began to walk away.
The troll is Zul: While the troll called all of the trolls there brothers, he did not once personally call Vol'jin his brother. It is not out of the realm of possible for Zul to talk during the meeting and then for Rastakhan to try to make Vol'jin reconsider his stance in person or through a letter {kind of like how Garrosh sent Magatha letter denounced her in the Shattering novel) before Vol'jin journeyed to the Ghostlands, thus explaining Vol'jin's Rastakhan calling him a brother comment.

The troll is Rastakhan: The troll told the other tribes to unite under the Zandalari and form a new Troll Nation. If the troll is Rastakhan Vol'jin could see the meeting as him unveiling his plan to the other trolls. Remember just because we know that this is Zul's plan, doesn't mean that Vol'jin does.
The troll is Zul: It is Zul's plan to unite the troll race under Zandalari and Rastakhan could of let the mysterious prophet tell the other troll tribes. Vol'jin knowing Rastakhan still leads the Zandalari could see Zul acting as Rastakhan's mouth piece or herald by telling the other troll Rastakhan's plan. Remember just because we know that this is Zul's plan, doesn't mean that Vol'jin does.
I feel that their is enough inference for the troll being Rastakhan or Zul that we should just leave this image on the Patch 4.1 article with "Rastakhan or Zul" underneath it and wait for Blizzard to reveal who the troll is.
