Description
I met Gerenzo once, but let me tell you, he's not easy on the eyes. His flesh looks like it's rotting away, and he's grafted metal and gears onto his body, replaced some of his limbs with mechanical ones.

  +
::Pretty sure this is accurate. The other island is likely a reference to The Island of Dr. Moreau. These are the first things that came to my mind when I read the names. Generalleoff 03:56, 7 November 2007 (UTC)
Northeast of here, far above Cragpool Lake, up near the water wheel is where Gerenzo watches over the entire site. There's no way I could fight my way up there, not to mention take on Gerenzo... But you look like you might be able to make it.

If you kill him for me, I'll make it worth your while!

I was just talking to a GM and he said that Gillijim's Isle is the same as GM Island. Is that true?
Rewards
{{itembox|You will be able to choose one of these rewards:

You will also receive:

:I do not think so, but if a GM said it... Gillijim's Isle was by STV and GM island is by the Night elf starting aera.-- 17:04, 24 July 2007 (UTC)
Progress
Sputtervalve will want some sort of proof that Gerenzo's dead. I think his mechanical arm will probably do.

  +
::Strange, the GM really said it to me. I asked about Gillijim's Island, then he said that the GMs hold tea party's there. I asked if it's the same place as GM Island and he answered yes. User:Midna22:39, 24 July 2007(GMT+1)
Completion
Look at that thing... it'd take a gnome to come up with something like that. I can't understand why you'd cut off an arm, and replace it with that, when you could just keep both arms and add a third!

  +
:::Sounds like he was kidding... but they might have set it up for GMs to be able to go there. I guess we'll never know until someone here joins Blizzard. Kurl 19:00, 1 September 2007 (UTC)
Gnomes, I tell you...

Northrend
At least Gerenzo's out of commission. Hopefully that'll be enough proof, and Sputtervalve will assign me to one of the Tinkers' Union workshops in Gadgetzan or maybe even Undermine.

The article states that the island is inaccessible because fatigue sets in before you get there. But I am wondering with all this talk about swimmng to Quel'Danas with a BE paladin and "healing through the fatigue". Is this technique possible to get to Gillijim's Isle? Has anyone actually tried it? Kidburla 00:54, 15 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm wondering if this place still exists after Cataclysm reshaped the world. By which I mean, if there's still a "zone" you can enter like [this one] (taken during WotLK). --Dr. Cheis (talk) 23:48, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
