Rocket Jump is one of the racial abilities for the new Goblin race and may be part of the [Goblin All-In-1-Der Belt] array of tools. When activated it causes the player to be propelled forward by Rockets. The Ability shares a cooldown with another Goblin Racial, Rocket Barrage, which causes Fire damage to a targeted enemy. Just like Rocket Barrage, the Rocket Jump triggers the global cooldown.
Rocket Jump is useful as en escape mechanism for ranged classes, as the jump gives a sizable lead, it also works when chasing enemies. The abilities effect if even more useful when jumping from high places. Rocket Jump can still be activated when caught in snares that prevent movement, however you still won't be able to move.
It is possible to offset fall damage by activating Rocket Jump to be propelled forward before hitting the ground, possibly negating most of the fall damage, though this requires careful timing as the abilities activation is delayed when in the air.
Rumored to trigger as a global cooldown, so use it to jump away and not to an enemy (if you can control it).
