Background
The gargoyles were first utilized by the Scourge during the Third War and are still found in the areas under Scourge control, such as the Rockwing Gargoyles that patrol the dead-side of Stratholme.
They are general mob enemies groups will encounter while inside the instance and will spawn when intruders are spotted by the Eye of Naxxramas.
Attacks and Abilities
- Fear - Causes all party members within melee range to flee in fear for 5 seconds.
Strategies
When fighting gargoyles it is important to always pull them away from other mobs and fight them as far away as possible. It is also a good idea to keep them stunned as much of the fight as possible. When you are fighting two or more, try to keep one shackled until the first is dealt with. In multiple pulls (where other types of mobs are involved) these must be a priority.
