The Gnomeregan Institute of Tinkering was an institute in Gnomeregan prior to the city's destruction. Given the name, along with the general nature of gnomes, it was apparently dedicated to science and engineering. Narain Soothfancy and Doctor Weavil were two of the students. According to Weavil's diary (which so far holds the only mention of the institute), Narain destroyed the curve on all of Weavil's exams, which caused Weavil to fail out of school. For that, Weavil became his archenemy.
