This spell envelopes a target briefly in a cloud of dark energy conjured from the netherworld. ^{WoWRPG 336}

Shadow Word: Pain is Shadow based damage over time spell. It is often considered the strongest DoT in the game.

Notes

• Shadow Word: Pain receives 110% (18.3% per Tick) of your shadow damage
• The Absolution Regalia (2) Set increases the duration of your Shadow Word: Pain ability by 3 sec. (1 "tick")

Tips and tactics

• You can deal an immense amount of damage with just Shadow Word: Pain and Devouring Plague. If you also happen to be Shadow spec, you can add Vampiric Touch to the mix for even more damage.
