Samantha Swifthoof is a level 40 non-elite female tauren that patrols the path which extends from the northern border of Stranglethorn Vale to the town of Booty Bay. She is PvP flagged for the Horde, but will not attack Alliance members unless they attack her first.
In the WoW beta, Samantha was the trainer for the tauren travel skill Plainsrunning (this skill was removed and the kodo introduced for the live release). For a short period of time in the past, she was given the label of "Civilian" and would give Alliance members a dishonorable kill if they killed her.
Haren Swifthoof may be a relative.
