in the Grizzly Hills in Northrend, south of Drak'Tharon Keep.

This section concerns content exclusive to Cataclysm. Samir is now Captain Samir and leads an ill-fated expedition into Vashj'ir. He is later found within Smuggler's Scar^{[56.7, 29.8]}

, a cave in Kelp'thar Forest, after being phased in via questing. He later joins the caravan that departs from Thistleshrub Valley^{[30.4, 65.6]}

and travels into Uldum, only to be captured along with everyone else by pygmies. The caravan members escape their captors as part of the introductory quests to that zone. As part of the caravan, he appears to have dropped his former "Captain" title. He later can be found safe and sound within the city of Ramkahen^{[55, 34]}

, working at the city's anvil alongside Blacksmith Abasi.
