  • 2 ore are converted into 1 [Saronite Bar] at a forge

Saronite Ore can be prospected by Jewelcrafters with a skill of 400, resulting in a random uncommon and possible rare gem:

Locations Edit

Saronite is generally found in the "higher level" areas of Northrend (Sholazar Basin, Icecrown, Storm Peaks, Wintergrasp and Zul'Drak). Rich Saronite Deposits are uncommon spawns found in Sholazar, Icecrown, Wintergrasp and Storm Peaks. They have a higher chance to spawn in Wintergrasp.
