Scarlet Hold is located in east New Avalon. High Abbot Landgren and High General Abbendis are situated out front fending off a mob of displeased Citizens of Havenshire and New Avalon who are distraught over the Scourge's attacks on New Avalon and Havenshire.

In the non-instanced version, the keep can be seen in ruins.
