Seduces the target, preventing all actions for up to 15 sec. Any damage caused will remove the effect. Only works against Humanoids.
An ability of the Warlock's Succubus pet, Seduction mesmerizes a target and renders them unable to attack, cast, move, or use any other abilities. Any damage caused to the target will remove the effect.
Seduction has a 1.5-second casting time (without talents) and is channeled, so the Succubus can't perform any other action while seducing and can be interrupted. This ability only works on humanoids and lasts for 15 seconds, barring diminishing returns or damage. Any damage inflicted on the target will break Seduction instantly.
Seduction can be set to auto-cast; the AI does nothing when you're facing one opponent, but with more than one, it's fairly good at picking one enemy you're not fighting and seducing it.
Seduction on other players is controlled by the Diminishing Returns Rule, which means that you can't seduce a player an unlimited number of times. Not only that, but Seduction and Fear are on the same Diminishing Returns Rule, preventing alternating use for long amounts of time.
Patch 1.7.0 (13-Sep-2005): Succubus pets will be smarter about when to use Seduction.
Patch 1.4.0 (2005-05-05): Is now considered a Fear effect for purposes of diminishing returns.
