Revision as of 05:45, 9 October 2008
A cobra-like snake that comes in a variety of colors. They are good swimmers and attack with their fangs and [Poison Spit]. Serpents are found in the Wailing Caverns, Zul'Gurub, Zul'Farrak, the Sunken Temple, and Shadowmoon Valley.
Serpents were not normally tamable for a long time. The Sandfury Guardian was briefly tamable as a bug (classified as a wind serpent). However, the family was rendered tamable with Patch 2.0.

As a Hunter Pet
Once popular shortly before the release of the Burning Crusade for their intimidating appearance and novelty. Their [Poison Spit], if not carefully managed, easily disrupts crowd control.
