Mekgineer's Chopper 2 players — Mekgineer's Chopper with rider and passenger.

Mekgineer's Chopper is a motorcycle mount created by top Alliance engineers. This vehicle allows one party member to ride along in the sidecar. It's one of the few mounts that can be bought on the Auction house, however it will usually cost plenty of gold, considering the price of the mats to create it.

Activating the sidecar

To activate Mekgineer's Chopper's sidecar and carry a passenger, simply invite the player to a group. The player's pointer will turn into a green mounting arrow when they mouse over Mekgineer's Chopper, allowing them to jump on while the sidecar deploys itself automatically. Note that if you are in a raid group, your passenger must be in the same group (1, 2, 3...etc) as you to enter the side car.

Materials required
	12x [Titansteel Bar]			40x [Handful of Cobalt Bolts]
	2x [Arctic Fur]			1x [Salvaged Iron Golem Parts]
	8x [Goblin-Machined Piston]			1x [Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe]

Taught by [Schematic: Mekgineer's Chopper], which can be purchased from the Alliance Vanguard quartermasters Logistics Officer Brighton and Logistics Officer Silverstone for 400 (faction discount lowers the price till 320). Exalted reputation is required to purchase the schematic.

Ingredient List

These components must be purchased from Roxi Ramrocket at K3 in Storm Peaks for total cost of 12500 and are available for sale only to engineers able to craft this item. No reputation discount is available for these parts.

	1x [Elementium-Plated Exhaust Pipe]

The two Arctic Furs are gathered by a Skinner.

The 40 Cobalt Bolts are created by an Engineer, and require (on average) 40x [Cobalt Bar]. (There is some uncertainty. Each 2 cobalt bars makes 1-3 bolts.) Cobalt bars, in turn, are crafted on a one-for-one basis from [Cobalt Ore] by Miners.

The 12 Titansteel bars are crafted by miners from
	36x [Titanium Bar]			12x [Eternal Fire]
	12x [Eternal Shadow]			12x [Eternal Earth]

which can be further broken down into
	72x [Titanium Ore]			120x [Crystallized Earth]
	120x [Crystallized Fire]			120x [Crystallized Shadow]

Titansteel, as well as various eternal substances, can be salvaged (by engineers) from mechanical bosses in Ulduar such as Flame Leviathan.
Titanium Bars can be transmuted from Saronite Bars by Alchemists.

Trivia

The vehicle comes with a license plate with the word "PWN" on it.
A Mekgineer's Chopper can be found outside Like Clockwork in the Magus Commerce Exchange district of Dalaran.

Achievements

Obtaining this mount rewards the achievement [Get to the Choppa!].

Patch changes

Patch 3.1.0 (2009-04-14): This mount is no longer considered a vehicle.

Now fully a mount, with fall damage, instant mount/dismount, and swimming ability.
