Attacks and abilities

• Basic Melee: These hit for around 3000 on cloth.
• Charge: Charges a target for 2500 (on cloth), often followed by a melee strike before returning to their aggro target. This ability has a minimum range.
• Spore Burst: Applies an unremovable debuff that deals nature damage every 3 seconds.

Strategies

Serpentshrine Sporebats are vulnerable to all applicable forms of CC, as well as snares. However, the Coilfang Beast-Tamer that comes with them can enrage them, making them immune to CC.

Generally, these are off-tanked until the Coilfang Beast-Tamer is dead, and then sheeped, feared or slept while the other mobs are finished off. If these are the only target up, all players can come in close to prevent their charge.

Charge targets can be controlled, as the Serpentshrine Sporebat will generally only charge the furthest target within Charge range that is on it's aggro list.

Note:If the Serpentshrine Sporebats are sheeped far enough away from the Coilfang Beast-Tamer they sometimes do not become enraged and break sheep.
