Magistrate Barthilas with Pimp Hat

Magistrate Barthilas wearing [Red Pimp Hat]

Serverstatus

This article is an information page for the Barthilas realm (server)

The contents herein are entirely player made and in no way represent official World of Warcraft history or occurrences which are accurate for all realms. The information and events listed are of an independent nature and applied for roleplaying, fictional, speculative, or opinions from a limited playerbase only.

Barthilas came online 9th of June 2006 at 4:59pm GMT+10. Barthilas is the third Oceanic PvP realm, after Frostmourne in November 2005 and Jubei'Thos in January 2006, but before Thaurissan which opened November 2006 as a free transfer realm. Server time is set to GMT+10 (AEDT) or GMT+11 during Australia's Summer time, and most guilds raid at around 8PM server time. Barthilas is eligible as a destination realm for PCTs.

Being a late generation server and from the 3rd round of Oceanic servers most of the players on Barthilas are playing their 2nd character, with many playing their 3rd, 4th or even 5th character on this server. This means that the dynamics on Barthilas are quite different to other Oceanic realms.

Barthilas was named after a Paladin who fell to the Scourge, and "Magistrate Barthilas" is a sub-boss in (Undead) Stratholme. "Magistrate Barthilas" is known primarily as the boss that drops the [Red Pimp Hat].

Casual guilds, Leveling Guilds, and guilds raiding pre-TBC[]

Alliance Crest Alliance[]

  • Õççä Pïrãtés,. are looking for new Pirates to join the crew! We are a friendly, casual guild and we basically serve our members! Most people who join our guild say it is the best they have been in, and we strive to uphold this friendly community player-base. We are currently assisting players level efficiently by running instances - we believe we are one of the fastest growing guilds on Barthilas as we recruited over 100 members in our first four days of operation. With our large amount of higher level players we look forward to the advent of raiding, in a fun, casual way. We have 4 guild bank tabs, each filled with many valuable items such as BoE gear, mats pots and even gems. We also host fun events for the occasional break. Check the website for more details and to applu. Cheers. :D
  • From The Ashes. TBC New Guild. No published progression.
  • NeighborhooD. are a bunch of great people wanting to have a good time. Building a strong community and comrardery within the guild is very important to us and we are looking forward to the good times to come. As relatively new guild we currently don't have a lot of members but are growing fast and raiding already!
  • Locked Out Guild.
  • Ante Bellum. Ante Bellum was formed by ex members of Omnipotence.
  • The Price is Wrong. Our goal is to maintain a casual and mature atmosphere; to provide a end-game progression avenue for our level 70's; and to facilitate a fun levelling experience for all members.
  • CORE. are a PVE Based Raiding Guild on Barthilas. Our Objective is to Progress as Fast as we can through end game content before the release of the new expansion .
  • Shadow Ravens. was originally formed by Dazalar & Divinechaos after the collapse of Eon Rose. We are a PvE raiding guild with our current aim's and objectives focused on 25 man content and getting together a strong guild of friendly people to reign havoc in the new expansion Wrath of the Lich King.
  • Controlled Kaos. A tidy guild full of good-looking people who probably play too much WoW.

  • Rabid Ants
