Updating information

Thank you for updating Inv wand 01 [Dartol's Rod of Transformation], however, please do not removed patch changes as you did here. All changes are documented. SnakeSssssssssssssssssssssssss Coobra sig3For Pony! (Sssss/Slithered) 04:43, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Even the changes that never happened? The information listed there was incorrect, and there was no mention of it on the patch notes linked to by it, so I figured it was best just to remove the bogus entry under Patch Notes. However, subsequent edits make it clearer what happened -- I'll go back and edit it to be hopefully correct. --Reality Engineer (talk) 07:16, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
Just to clarify, if a page states, "Patch 3.1.0: All purple raptors renamed to 'Barney'." and I know that, in fact, this never happened, I will remove the bogus patch changes. If there's a problem with that, well, too bad, because that's what I'm gonna do. In the case of the above, what was stated in the patch changes at the time I edited the article never happened, so I removed the bogus entry. Now, something else did happen, and I've gone back and fixed the page to reflect the actual change that did occur during that patch, which is probably what you should have done there rather than restoring the bad entry (even with the correction afterward -- it was poorly phrased and should not have been several lines below the clearly incorrect entry it was contradicting). --Reality Engineer (talk) 07:46, 25 May 2009 (UTC)
