Black Dragonflight is a PvP US Server launched April 11, 2006. This server, unlike most, opened allowing transfers from old PvE servers to this new PvP server. After some brief confusion, the AQ Gate was opened without the event as all of the servers that could transfer characters to Black Dragonflight had already completed the event.

Black Dragonflight runs on EST for its server time.
Black Dragonflight was home to the US Guild Overrated who were notoriously banned in October 2006 for hacking the gates to C'Thun in AQ40. This was a disappointment for they were the first Guild to clear all of Naxx.
Black Dragonflight is one of the last servers to come up every tuesday, usually coming up at 4PM while other servers are usually up much earlier.
Ming, the "Savior" of the Rogue class resides on Black Dragonflight. World of Ming
The Server is apart of the Stormstrike Battlegroup, Horde win most AV's while Alliance dominate Arathi Basin, Eye of the Storm. While Warsong Gulch has no common victor.
