Bleeding Hollow (PvP)

Official Server Forums: Bleeding Hollow Forum
Alternative Community Site: Leetster

Stats:

  • Lag: Decent. Bleeding Hollow only suffers in situations where any server would. 300 avatars in one spot. etc
  • Instance Stability: Usually decent. Is bad on rare occasions. Situation normal.
  • Alliance/Horde Ratio: Approximately 3.5 (Alliance) to 1 (Horde) Ratio.
  • Amount of PvP: Was fanatical and amazing... is now pretty slow, although efforts to revitalize have been noted. Notable hotspots include BRM and the Plaguelands. The Deeprun Tram is raided occasionally, as are the gates of Orgrimmar and Undercity. With the release of Burning Crusade, the Dark Portal has also become a fiercely contested area.
  • Arena Performance: As one of the many release-date PvP servers in the Ruin battlegroup, Bleeding Hollow performs quite admirably in the arena at all levels of combat. Despite the loss of many excellent PvPers to the server transfers that gutted BH, it maintains a strong presence in the battlegroup.

Popular Players:

  • Alliance: Beepo, Boen, Denke, Teez, Whakkawhakka.
  • Horde:

Brief History: Bleeding Hollow has seen better days. It is an original release server and was once the most populated PvP server available. Since then, it has suffered through four free transfers due to overpopulation (Crushridge, Dunemaul, Mug'thol, and Cho'gall) and countless guild relocations, yet somehow has managed to survive. While not exactly on the cutting edge of PvE like it used to be, it still remains home to a particularly ornery group of PvPers, and the most formidable army of trolls (both in-game and on the forums) that any server can boast.
