Dath'Remar is a PvE Server and was opened 22 September 2006 as a free transfer destination for the 5 existing oceanic servers. Dath'Remar is named after Dath'Remar Sunstrider, a High Elf.
The server has been fondly nicknamed "Drama'Remar" or "Darth'Remar" by its inhabitants and by other realms, because of the high rate of "drama" that occurs between its guilds (predominately Horde) as well as on its realm forums. Dath'Remar is now a high population server due to the overflow of recent transfers from other realms. Entire guilds have also transferred and most of these have had trouble in establishing friendly relations with the general population (general discontent towards all transferees for creating queues). The majority of players on Dath'remar are from Khaz'goroth. The server is also famous for EMO guild quits from people not getting their way.
Dath'Ramar also has an Offical IRC Channel: IRC Server: irc.mmoirc.com (Formally the WoWIRC Network) Channel: #Dathremar

- Battlegroup: Bloodlust
- Some New Movements have formed in early 2008, Dath'Remar is now developing a solid pvp core - even known to take on the infamous Blackrock premades.
- The rogues guide to Orgrimmar published by Zianite, was an information article for Alliance rogues that detailed world PvP in Orgrimmar, the guide can be found Here
Fads and Lingo
- Klutar's leap - Using the X-52 Rocket Helm to kill oneself before logging out, pioneered by Klutar [H] and has become a common novelty among both the Horde and the Alliance alike. This also inspired the first "Life and Dath" comic.
- Dance parties - Another common occurrence on Dath, these cross factional parties usually take place outside the Scryer bank but have known to be in Orgrimmar and Halaa also.
- Green triangle - Target Icon reserved for acts of great stupidity in group situations, usually awarded following wipes or similar.. First awarded to Eccles (H)
- Summon Leaping - Next time you find yourself near a cliff next to a summoning stone, such as the Blackrock Depths summoning stone, summon yourself, and have a group member click on portal. Once you've been summoned, jump off the cliff into the lava. Only, just before you hit the lava, accept the summons. Can be tons of fun while waiting for more people to arrive.
- -Gnome Marathon- Pretty Vacant completed a Gnome race from Ironforge to Silvermoon consisting of Level 1 Female Gnomes with Pink Hair. /pvp. This will be a Semi-Annual event possible multi-guilds next run.
- -Rupglish- This term was founded by Twistoffate in response to Rupturez inability to type a sentence without spelling everything incorrectly. He speaks in a language entirely to himself.
Server Fame
- Life and Dath - A newly formed comic series created by Amystra [A] about the comings and goings of Dath'Remar and can be seen (Here)
- Hit 'em up part 1 - A modified version of Tupacs song with the lyrics changed to relate to players of Dath'remar. It was written by Hoorah, the GM of Omega, in response to all the drama that occured between his guild and Meddle (which has recently been abandoned for the second time by Drak, GM and maintank). The rap had some very mixed reactions from the community. The thread can be found (Here)
- It is the home to spider balls, currently afk going down with a bunch of guys
- The Guild Bonkers was featured in Hyper magazine 167's WoW segment as well as a game guide writen by the same author. To view the page, (Click Here)
- Meddle Vs Omega - age old battle that has now ended with both guild's demise, mainly due to poor guild leadership and poor TPS.
