The European Draenor is a Normal (PvE) server with a full population. It's primary language is English and it uses Central European Time.
Apart from the official realm forum the server also has an unofficial forum, [1] , which can be used to talk to fellow Draenorians frankly, without the restraints of the official forum's rules.
The popularity of the Draenor realm has increased dramatically over the last few months, with entire guilds (PvE and PvP orientated) transferring to the realm. Most of these transfers are Horde players, and is most likely due to the Horde's success in 25-man raiding, with 3 Horde guilds having cleared Black Temple and ventured further into Sunwell: Chimaera, Exodus, and Prophecy of Hellscream. As a result of the recent transfers, Draenor players now experience short queues at peak-times when logging into the server. It is also estimated that the recent transfers have drastically altered the Alliance-Horde population ratios (Alliance used to heavily outnumber Horde on this realm) and it is now expected that the population between the two factions is more balanced.
Draenor's community is generally considered to be very friendly and somewhat mature, something that has probably played a role in the recent mass transfers to the server.
One of Draenor's most famous guilds is Shinasu, listed on this page. From early-on in Molten Core up until the launch of The Burning Crusade, they lead the raid progression on the server. Following the launch of The Burning Crusade, Shinasu and many other Draenor guilds have suffered from internal problems. Chimaera (Horde) is now at the wheel of the famous Draenor ServerFirstMobile(tm), but always followed closely by Exodus (Horde) previously known as Maelstrom (Horde's ex-number 1 guild). Other big raiding guilds include Passion, Ivory Heart and Prophecy of Hellscream.
Draenor's PvP-community has always been relatively active for a PvE server. Before TBC, both the alliance and horde ran several set-teams with the most famous one being; "Forward / Afk", led by the druid Khanda. In TBC, arena has become the main fighting ground for anyone interested in PvP. Famous teams include; "Team Deio" who qualified for the first tournament realm and held top positions on the 5vs5 rankings in both Season 1 and the beginning of Season 2 before their teamleader and priest Deionarra, vanished from the game. The horde players; Serben (warrior) and Loutus (druid) are currently ranked 1st in 2vs2, alltho serben got carried by his talented druid loutus who taught him everything he knows about PvP.
