AllianceAlliance Guilds Edit

Due to the erratic nature of updates, the classification between active and defunct guilds may be dated or innacurate.

Guild emphasis among Role-play, Plaver vs. Environment, and Player vs. Player interests are represented using a key:

none (*), light (+), medium (++), heavy (+++)

For guild progession, visit the Guild Progression Chart Page.

Active Alliance Guilds Edit

  • Absolute RP*, PvE+++, PvP++: One of the oldest guilds on Emerald Dream, Absolute has been broken up and rebuilt many times in the past giving the the status of the "Unbreakable Guild". They continue to casually raid BC content though their numbers have fallen after the expansion making them a much tighter guild. Still near the top in pve guild progression on the server, with a little focus, they could be at the top again.
  • Ashes of the Phoenix PvE+++, PvP+, RP+: Ashes of the Phoenix is a guild formed by former members of HOoD. In an alliance with The Caliphate for PVE and PVP adventures.
  • Axiom RP*, PvE+++, PvP+: Axiom was formed following the restructuring of the guild Argent Avengers in early 2007. Axiom's reformation saw the core of players who made up the backbone of Argent Avengers come to the new guild which has since thrived. Axiom is a raid-focused guild currently raiding Black Temple/Hyjal.
  • Cerulean Axis RP++, PvP++, PvE+: Cerulean Axis is a small guild of friends who are, for the most part, content to do what they can with what they have.
  • Corruption PvP+++, Corruption, a pure PvP guild. Centered around all aspects of WoW PVP. Occasional PVE to mix up the pace. Core members have been MMO gaming together since '96.
  • Courage RP+, PvE+++, PvP+++ Courage is a guild focused on end game raiding. This guild is a fusion of the best from Chaos, Renascor and others. Courage's dedicated leadership is focused on making this guild continue its quantum advancement on the server.
  • Crimson Alliance RP++, PvE+++, PvP+, Crimson Alliance is one of the oldest RP guilds on the server.
  • Crimson Sails RP++, PvE++, PvP++ A fairly new guild in the Realm of Emerald Dream, Led by their Charismatic Admiral Kellnap, The Pirates are a band of Swashbuckling Crew out to serve all horde a Tasty Treat of Pillage and Burn. We Are a Guild of Family and Friendship, with over 70 Crew members actively playing we Hope to Advance to large raids!.
  • Dawn of Trinity RP+, PvE+++, PvP++, Dawn of Trinity is a PvE focused, PvP participating, non-participating but supportive of RP guild.
  • Exilios RP+, PvE+++, PvP+++, Exilios guild was formed after the release of the Burning Crusades from a merger between the members of the Elven Council and the Exiles of Kul Tiras. Exilios is currently progressing through Karazhan.
  • Fallout/Invite Only/Lost Chapter PvE+++, PvP+, RP* Fallout was the leading PVE guild on Emerald Dream, clearing Naxx up to Kel'Thuzad pre-BC. Prior to the expansion, they disbanded and reformed into two guilds--Invite Only, led by Tenderloin, Dardrius, and Yon, and Tempest, led by Hoeke, Aslaria, and Marisol. Both guilds showed lackluster PVE progression early in Burning Crusade, and the two guilds soon decided to merge to form a more stable raiding guild. The new merger was called Lost Chapter, after a guild on Lightning's Blade server that had been home to many of Tempest's raiders. Like Fallout, Lost Chapter is the #1 most progressed PVE guild on Emerald Dream. NEWS: As of mid-April 2008, Lost Chapter has disbanded after 5 of the officers followed Cozy to <Death and Taxes>, taking with them over 50,000 gold worth from the guild bank. Many members have since discontinued playing WoW.
  • GnomeTech RP+++, PvE+, PvP+, Led by the enigmatic Zappie, GnomeTech has become known to both sides for their ever delightful RP events and their trademark death-rays.
  • Guild Pending/Guild Hopscotch PvE+, PvP*, RP+, Guild Pending was formed by Dohleman after he became frustrated by whispers to sign peoples' charters while he awaited application approval for <Dusk>. During his short reign, Guild Pending began collecting the alts of various members of the AlliancePact. Dohleman then left the guild to Therm, who recruited as many big name alts as he could into the guild and quickly brought Guild Pending into the limelight via trolling. After a month or so, Therm presumably retired from WoW. Just recently, however, Therm has returned bearing a new name, Guild Hopscotch, that seems to bear the same intentions that the original Guild Pending did.
  • Hallowed RP*, PvE+++, PvP+, One of the quietest guilds on the server, little is known about them, besides the fact that they are dedicated and are willing to stay up late to meet their goals.
  • Honor The Fallen RP*, PvE+++, PvP++, Led by Bretalia who has built this guild as a Casual Raiding guild built on long lasting friendships.
  • House Blackstone RP+++, PvE+, PVP++, One of the oldest role-playing guilds on the server. Most well known for their Emerald green armor wearing guards. Led by Kendal and Eowynn Blackstone, Duke and Duchess of Eastern Lordaeron.
  • Hundred Handed RP+, PvE++, PvP++, Hundred Handed has recently been reformed by Callas. Many of the old guild members are back and reuniting once more.
  • Dor Ishura Shan're RP+++, PvE++, PvP++: Ishura is a very relaxed, and welcoming guild that is open to RPers of all levels and skills. There is no elitism here, and everyone is welcome to help one another improve their RP. Though there is no specific requirement for the type of roleplay, Ishura looks for members who have story lines that are in line with the Lore of the game. For more information, please visit our website. (And oh, our OOC chat is fun!)
  • The Kingship of the East RP+++, PvE++, PvP++: The Kingship is a role-playing guild with its own King that governs solely over the people within the guild. It has been around for over a year now, though its members and leadership took a break from the game for several months. It has since returned and is steadily growing. The guild itself provides almost constant opportunities for role-playing, either through events or simple guild chat. It has also been met with success in several raiding instances such as Gruul and Magtheridon's Lair. Raids on the "old world" content are done from time to time as well as fun events for providing more role-playing experience for all. There are several houses that members can participate in as well as various other jobs and titles should one want to take on more responsibility.
  • Legion RP+, PvE+++, PvP++, Legion is a casual raiding guild, typically raiding 2 – 3 times per week and on off days we are completing various 5-man Heroics. We are mostly older gamers who like to joke and have fun while working towards end-game content as a team. We are also aware that age does not always equal maturity and therefore there is no age restriction for Legion. It is expected however that people act mature and treat others with respect. Legion practices common decency and respect within the guild at all times. A simple "Please" and "Thank You" can go a long way. Legion continues to run Karazan and Gruul's Lair but the bulk of its members have moved on to the next tier of raiding content.
  • No Mercy Mafia RP*, PvE+++, PvP+++ With a strong passion for world PvP, No Mercy Mafia is often on the look-out for large Alliance vs Horde confrontation. Occasionally taking a break from world PvP, many of it's members have grown to love PvE. While exploring and learning much of the PvE content, an increased passion for raiding has taken a grip on No Mercy Mafia. PvE progression is a significant goal for them. When they aren't seeking world PvP, you will likely find them in raid instances, both pre-BC end-game, and new end-game content.
  • Pub Crawlers RP+, PvE+++, PvP++, Raid+: The one & only Brew fest beer lore RP guild on Emerald Dream, Pub Crawlers is a group of fun loving party animals that enjoy checking out different pubs all over Azeroth. We meet every week for a drink and always have a great time. If your looking for some good ale and a few laughs come join us. We are currently recruiting for raid content, contact Nordak for more info.
  • Revenant RP*, PvE+++, PvP+, Revenant was formed by a group of friends who had previously been in High Impact or Nightfall. It was led by Moirenn from May until Novmenber, when the guild suffered raiding burnout from pre-BC. She and the co-leaders and many key raiders left for Fallout. Glides took over leadership of the members who elected to stay, and the guild limped along until disbanding. Revenant went from nothing to the #2 progressed guild on the server, landing behind Fallout in Naxx progression before disbanding. They accomplished this in just under 6 months.
  • The Fallen Legion RP+ PvE+++ PvP+++ The Fallen Legion is a relaxed fun loving guild based around those who no longer wished to deal with the Drama in many of ED guilds.
  • The Fashionistas (RP++, PvE+, PvP+) The Azerothian style-factory known as the Fashionistas are still dazzling the Horde with their eccentric fashions. Students of the Aesthetic, the fashies care more about style and beauty then anything else. Not much as far as PVE progression or PVP domination - however, no one else can mix and match their armor, accessorize, or work a lovely black dress the way the Fashionistas do.
  • The Sacred Flame (RP+++ PvE+ PvP++)The Sacred Flame is a heavy roleplaying Priest-and-Paladin-only order founded by Tirion Fordring whose purpose is to protect and serve the light. We been around for almost a year now, with leadership voluntarily being passed around every few months, which shows that leadership at the top is shared and strong.
  • The Smalls Clan (RP++ PvE++ PvP+) is a guild of Dwarves on the Emerald Dream Server. We endeavor to experience all aspects of the game while role-playing dwarves as influenced by European mythology and medieval fantasy fiction, particularly the works of J.R.R. Tolkien. We (infrequently) post RP retellings about our misadventures and other characters we meet as “Smalls Reports” on the realm forum. Originally starting out as “The Smalls Brothers”, we have been active circa October of 2005.
  • Valhalla (RP*, PVE++, PVP+) Valhalla is a small guild that plans on becoming one of Emerald Dream's only afternoon raiding guilds.

Defunct and Inactive Alliance Guilds Edit

  • The Caliphate - RP++, PvE+++, PvP+++, The Caliphate was one of the mainstays of Emerald Dream. The guild disbanded in late 2007, however its lengthy tenure as well as its association with numerous scandalous forum posts cause it to still be one of the most recognizable guild names on the server.
  • Maelstrom RP+, PvE+++, PvP++ No longer an active raiding guild.
  • Obsidian RP++, PvE++, PvP++, Obsidian was a guild of mature players that are bound together by shared friendships, attitudes, and ideals. Most of its member base is composed of former members of larger guilds/raiding guilds who enjoy endgame without all the drama. After much of the leadership left it merged with resurgence reborn.
  • Insomnia RP*, PvE+++, PvP++, Insomnia was a close-knit guild created in mid April of '07 by five friends who just wanted to have some fun. The guild has grown over the past several months, but retains it's friendly and relaxed atmosphere as it pushes forward through the clearing of Karazahn and onto other endgame content, with raids 2-3 times a week. "And no, there is no f--cking RP!" Recently transfered off-server after a mass-desertion. Now resides on The Underbog and continues to work through progression, begining SSC.
  • Knights of the Old Code RP+++, PvE+, PvP++, Knights of the Old Code was founded by Krayden, now led by General Mathius Owenhast. Dedicated to upholding the Code, which outlines the virtues and integrities that a knight should live by. As of February 20th, 2008, the Knights of the Old Code guild has passed on into legend. Though some of its members still exist and uphold the standards, it is no longer a singular entity.
  • Malicious Intent RP*, PvE++,PvP++, Malicious Intent was a raiding guild. Accomplishments include downing gruul with help from dark hollow. Broke apart after several officers got greedy and went for a powergrab. The other officers decided to merge into other guilds and become casual players as it wasn't worth trying to rebuild from scratch again. Players can be found in Atma, exilios and clan red hand for the most part.
  • The Shan're lo dor Talah RP+++, PVE ++ PvP++ The Shan're lo dor Talah, or Council of Stars in the common tongue of humans, was an organization that is dedicated to the protection and preservation of the Kaldorei way of life. It is an all Kaldorei (Nightelf), defensive-minded guild that defends the Ancient Kaldorei ancestoral lands when trouble comes calling. So Durithor! Be Vigilant... Note: Was later reformed into the "Shan're lo dor Aman" - Council of the Moon. The concept was the same, however, and the guild has been greatly missed. Recently, Shalmayan, original Shan're, has been seen trying to resucitate the old guild.
  • Vindictive (PvE+++, PvP*) Led by the Dwarf "Larena", this guild was one of the most successful end-game guilds in the early life of the server. Although the general vibe of the guild from outsiders was that the guild was rude and selfish, Vindictive was truly dedicated to their goals. They are responsible for nearly all server-firsts in end-game pre-Naxxramas. The guild eventually disbanded for various reasons but many members continued to join other successful raiding guilds such as "Fallout" and "Invite Only"
