The Emerald Dream Character Directory is a directory of characters that reside or have resided on Emerald Dream. A link to the actual Directory is at the bottom of this page.
Adhere to the proscribed format detailed below when contributing. Any breach will be cause to have your articles removed and possibly reported for vandalism which may result in the forfeiture of your editing privileges as described in the WowWiki policy section
This sections purpose is to identify and describe characters play within Emerald Dream and provide information supplimental to the WoW Armory. Though there may be some overlap, if the article you are interested in is primarily about people’s forum behavior and antics, or the character in question is merely a forum alt, direct yourself to the Notable Forum Trolls page.

Keep entries in alphabetical order by name.

| Character Description
|
| This is a basic description of the character as pertaining to the character’s appearance, mannerisms, role play, and habits. If you are not the owner of the character, this section must be written as objectively and as impartially as possible. Avoid posting any controvertible statements here. Limit description to a brief summation no more than a paragraph or two.

| Associations
|
| The present and past guilds (links encouraged) or servers the character may have belonged to along with any known allies or arch enemies.
|
| Expertise
|
| At a minimum you may list the characters favored talent spec (or specs) and include any PvP or PvE accolades they have earned. If the character is competent and willing to teach others how to better themselves it should be noted here. Stick to the plain facts. This is not an area for bashing skills or derogatory remarks.

| Declared Alts
|
| List any alts that the player has and does not mind being made public knowledge. Do not post any alts without specific permission or that is not already generally common knowledge unless the player is a proven ninja or raid-wrecker. Err on the side of caution.

| Positive Community Reaction
|
| Reserved space where the community may speak about the character in question. The section is subdivided into “Positive” for positive or neutral comments and “Critical” for more negative comments. Comments made here should be on the characters consistent playing style and actions. One time occurrences are insufficient to include here unless they are of particular noteworthiness, impact, and relevance to the community.

| Critical Community Reaction
|
| Keep entries as brief and factual as possible. If you can not describe the item in a sentence or two, it doesn’t belong here. Though much is subject to opinion; baseless statements, uninformative or incomplete statements, “shout outs”, slander, private jokes, or any other non-constructive shenanigans are strictly prohibited. This area is meant to keep people informed and is not a playground to exact personal vendettas or play pranks. Likewise, if the community as a whole has posted a critical opinion of you, do not childishly or vainly try to censor it.
Further:
“Mr X is a ninja” is much less informative and less credible than “Mr. X ninja’d item Y from guild Z on suchandsuch a date, screen shots were taken”
