Early Life
Edit

Israia Silverwind was born in Nagrand, in a large home to apparently wealthy parents, where the Forge Camp: Fear is, today. Upon birth, she was kept well apparently, as she did not show up in Challe's Home For Little Tykes until she was 3, and grew up there without ever knowing of her parents. As she grew she found herself the center of many fights, ranging from the boys fighting over who could protect her to her showing she needed no such protection.
This part of her life were her most profound years- not only did she learn how to handle herself in a fight, besting all at the orphanage in any wrestling match, but as she remembers, there was once a night where a storm raged outside, and upon her asking it to stop, it did.
Upon her tenth birthday, she was flown to Shattrath, and was to live on her own in the Lower City. Here she not only learned how to fend for herself(though uncommon for those her age in the Lower City, she never once stole, but instead traded and earned food and shelter), but how to fight using weapons. The more she grew, the more powerful she became, especially loving the feel of maces and axes- though her fists served her just as well. The years passed quickly, and though she kept to herself, several in the Lower City would speak fondly of her even to this day- if you pointed her out, at least.

On her fourteenth birthday, she was selected to be among those of the Sha'tar, and moved into a home in the Tempest Keep's Botanica wing. She spent her days mostly cleaning up around the Botanica though, as she had a tendency to harm the plants rather than help- though not for a lack of gentleness. She worked hard every day, and spent her nights reading and discussing topics with her superiors, educating herself on everything from the Naaru, to the Mag'har Orcs, to the workings of Tempest Keep itself. She frequently would travel to Shattrath to hear great speakers, one of which would show her, she was no simple Warrior. She took a special interest in Farseer Nobundo, speaking with him for weeks and weeks about his relationship with the elements, and finding its power fascinating. Her one sided view of the abilities worried him, and though she was loyal to the Draenei people and had good intentions, he felt he could not trust her to use the Elements for the greater good.
Becoming a Shaman
Edit
The Blood Elf attack on Tempest Keep seemed that it couldn't have been timed worse to Israia- she had gotten a much better job in the Botanica wing not long before, being a guard. But despite this, she was one of the first ordered to help with the evacuation onto the Exodar for her people, and was one of the few still alive upon its crash landing on the Azuremyst Isles.
To help with the rebuilding effort, as well as to be more effective in the Alliance army, the Farseer changed his mind about her(though reluctantly), and began to show her her Shamanistic ways from the Exodar.
Early Adult Life
Edit

As she grew in power, fighting many enemies all across Azeroth, her relationship as shown to her by Nobundo changed dramatically- while initially a close give and take relationship, she finds now she is nearly able to command the Elements at her will, though even she believes this is because of how rarely she does- she still primarily uses her brawn to best enemies in fights, commanding favors from the Elements to help keep them down. Rarely beaten, she has proven to be a fierce competitor on the battlefield, and unmatched in her fury when let loose.
While she studied her Shamanistic ways, she had gotten herself an apartment in Stormwind's Park district, and spent nearly every day in the Stormwind or Ironforge libraries, reading and studying more and more to not only familiarize herself with the world, but to educate herself on the roles of those around her.
Though early on she may have wanted to be a fighter for the Alliance, she soon found herself wanting to be a politician, an ambassador for her people to the Alliance. Her nature on the battlefield tainted any chance of this though, but she never forgot her lessons in diplomacy(though she may have ignored some of their rules).
Time on the Shardracona Estate
Edit
As Israia grew in strength, her travels around the world were always to a more exotic location than the last. During her travels however, she had seen a beautiful Night Elf woman, whom she couldn't find her thoughts not straying to for days. She would find out weeks later in Shattrath, her name was Azhandris Summerwind, and she lived on the Shardracona Estate. In hopes of perhaps wooing her, Israia inquired of the Estate, and after speaking with Anita conDoin, was allowed to travel to the Estate.

For a time, she resided in a cabin on the outer area of the Shardracona Estate. Here she has finally found for herself a home, finding most of its residents as hospitable as she has ever found any. Sadly for her love life however, soon after she arrived, Azhandris had found her own significant other. But Israia's sadness would not last long.
Weeks later, she met a Druidess by the name of Lyan Anaria Shadowwisp. Spending her days with her talking about books and world theory, history and culture, she found Lyan to be one of her few peers for her mind, and spent nearly every day by her side. This relationship was romantic nearly from the beginning, and the two were entirely inseperable, both from their love for one another, as well as their vast proficiencies in combat, especially at each others side.

Sadly however, good things do not last- it was not but several months later that an attack was staged on the Estate, forcing her off and away. While a few eventually returned to try and rebuild, Israia found herself thinking more and more about how she felt constrained and sheltered on the Estate. She stayed in contact with many of her closest friends from Shardracona, but still to this day holds grudges against a few, most significantly the two leaders of Shardracona at the time, Drinlana and Xanthalia, for abandoning them at their weakest moment.
Going forth into the more sinister parts of Outland and Azeroth- exploring and nearly demolishing the remains of Karazhan, aiding a group in killing Gruul the Dragonkiller, and even taking part on incursions into Serpentshrine Cavern(eventually killing its matron, Lady Vashj) and The Eye of Tempest Keep, her former home. During this time, she gathered armor from each venue, alongside adventurers who would soon become some of her greatest friends and allies in all of her future fights.
She has only visited the Botanica Wing however, once.
Marriage
Edit
After finally settling into a home in Stormwind, Lyan joined Israia in the apartment, though it would largely be short lived- for Israia proposed to Lyan, presenting her with a ring, and finding that Lyan had the same plan for the day, receiving her own. After waiting a month through the engagement for life to die down, the two wed in a private ceremony in Winterspring, much to the chagrin of all the guests they had invited to the planned wedding in Stormwind Keep, which while still turning into a great party for everyone, was missing its hosts. When asked later by a close friend, Israia laughed about the situation, and said, "We wanted to get to the honeymoon faster."
After a short honeymoon in Winterspring, Lyan provided Israia with a gift: two hearthstones, one for them each, that would return its holder to the other- allowing them to never be more than seconds apart from one another.
Afterwards they would live in a home in Zangarmarsh, built privately into one of the mushrooms north of The Lagoon. For a short time they contemplated having children(whether through surrogate father, or adoption, they could not decide), but, the evils of the world could not be kept at bay for too long, and their permanent honeymoon was interrupted.
War Calls Again
Edit

While exploring Outlands, Israia has helped many of the factions that help against the tyrants of the land, but spent a special amount of time fighting for that of the Netherwing Dragonflight, fighting tooth and nail to save as many lives of theirs that she could for weeks on end. Finally after striking several painful blows against the Fel Orcs under Illidan's control, she was able to hurt their operation enough to gain many more's freedom- one of which, whom was born with no name and has since chosen "Talniastrasz". Though often fighting his instincts stemming from his Black Dragonflight ancestry(as evident by his onyx shade), he is one of Israia's strongest allies, and almost permanently watching over her, or bringing her somewhere.

Upon the Shattered Sun Offensive launching it's attack on Quel'Danas, Israia and Lyan joined in the fight to not only stop Kael'thas once and for all, but furthermore to hopefully stop the Legion forever. While Lyan found her will to continue fighting every day waning, Israia did- and when questioned, she only said it was "For her family, and her people."- a sign of respect returning to her people.
Current Life
Edit
Israia now lives in Zangarmarsh in her and Lyan's home. Her relationship with the Elements has grown strong over the last year of her constant training and fighting, and now, while she does not claim the title of one of Azeroth or Outland's heroes, it would not stop some from calling her such. But, as a sign of pride, Israia does keep one of Lady Vashj's fingers nailed to a plaque that she keeps in the main room of their home.
She spends her days now fighting the Legion and Kael's remaining elves on Quel'Danas, and readying herself for anything the demon lord may throw at them.
Recently however, after her day's fighting, she has returned to an empty home, and has not seen Lyan for several days.
