Loralandril of the Caverns
Edit
Descendant of Silver and Savage
Edit
In the not too distant future, the battles of Warsong Gulch have spread throughout Ashenvale and the horde have begun claiming much of the Night Elves precious forests. At this same time, on the frozen front of Alterac Valley, the Druids of the Wild have met with little to no success and have been either slain or simply pushed out of those frozen lands.
Walking the paths of the Ruins of Shardracona the young but battle hardened Druidess, Loralandeil Silverpride, thought back to the words told to her by elders of her connection to the once great city and how its founders were staunch defenders of and this, once teeming, forest. The Silverpride Pendant, hung around her neck, a gift from her mother, passed down to her and was all that connected her to the Clan of the Silver Dragon and its founder known now only as Savage and her love, the warrior known as Silver.
She would close her eyes and imagine the land with its heroes here, battling the forces of the horde. Desperate to see Ashenvale restored to its former beauty, discovered the passage to the ancient Caverns of Time.
Loralandril and several fellow Druids took it upon themselves to travel to the caverns in the hopes of going back in time to before, and prevent the losses that the Druids and their allies were now facing on the contested fronts of Ashenvale and the Alterac Mountains. Perhaps … just perhaps, she would have the chance to learn from those who once dwelled here and called these ruins home and find the fields of battle to fight alongside those who first waged war to protect the land from destruction.
Appearance
Edit
Hair of lavender, streaked with silver. Her stride, strong and silent. She possesses an air of both savagery and serenity. Layered and intricately patterned leathers adorned with feathers, silver scales and accented with furs conceal her lithe form. Shimmering silver eyes shine brightly from beneath her hood.
A large truesilver pendant in the form of a lions head hangs about her neck from a silver chain. In its eyes are set sapphires and its intricate mane is detailed with kaldorei runes.
She flows from one form to the next as naturally as she breathes ... slipping into and out of them with tremendous ease. She is one with each and is as comfortable soaring above the trees as she is sprinting through woodland leaves.
Loralandril's Journal
Edit
Her journal knows only the names of the heroes of her past and knows of their deeds as well. Some she seeks to thwart .. some she seeks to observe. This weathered tome is bound in aged wood and its pages are of supple leather. It is bound with twine and constantly in a state of disrepair, needing constant maintenance and tending despite its sturdy components.
With the knowledge contained within this tome, she hopes to locate each of the heroes and aid them whenever possible. Even give her life to ensure their safety.
Silver and Savage
Edit
Her ancestors her sires, withoutwhom she would not exist. Loralandril owes everything that she is to the fact that these two beings once lived, loved and sired many cubs .. those begat more and so on .. Eventually she was born. the last of the Silverpride Tribe.
The Oracle
Edit
The Grand Seer, The Oracle the Messenger of the Moon .. many are the names that had been given to the High Priestess known as Xanthalia Ishaiya. She would outlive them all and even in the time of Loralandril's origins, it is believed that the Oracle still lives and watches all things.
The Last Ursa
Edit
the last great dire bear and the guardian of the oracle .. he perished in a great battle .. his end was foreseen by the Oracle .. despite his knowledge of his end, he met it anyway .. he knew he would die defending her from a great enemy. The oracle never told the Last Ursa who would be his end .. but his life was given to save hers and the lives of so many. he died valiantly.
He united the Druid Clans of the coming age and formed a great force to fight back the demons from the nether and to crush horde uprisings. He was he Bear King and lorded above all many of his kinsmen leading them into battle without fear for he knew the exact day he would die.
The Warlord
Edit
The girl whose past and future still remain uncertain even in Loralandril's time. The exploits of the Warlord began to fade from the history books recently .. causing great worry to Lorandril and her fellow Druids.
The Seraphim
Edit
A creature of divine heritage. A spirit believed to have been sent to bring light to the darkness that would one day consume Sijianisia. Loralandril believes that the Seraphim can alter the path of the Shadowchild.
The Shadowchild
Edit
The Shadowchild is responsible for the slaying of many. Few know the origins of this young bringer of death but it is believed that it was the Shadowchild who slew the Last Ursa on the field of battle.
The Shard
Edit
Legends have it, that a sentient crystal rests in the possession of the Silver Dragon. This crystal is known only as the shard. COuntless times The Shard was rumored to have somehow saved the life of its draconic possessor, somehow surrounding it in healing winds. Romors also spoke of the shard having the voice of a female. Entering the minds of those near to speak to them freely.
