Kil'jaeden (PvP)
Edit
Kil'jaeden is a high-population server, part of the Bloodlust-US Battlegroup. The server itself is in Pacific Standard Time (PST)
Kil'jaeden is very active in world PvP and tries to be competitive in both PvP and PvE. The most notorious guild on the server is the Alliance guild Ruinous along with its many branches. Ruinous is infamous for raiding horde cities and starting much world PvP. The guild has also publicly called out and attacked famous WoW players such as Swifty and Athene along with the guild Dara Mactire of Darkspear (US). Ruinous has somewhat dispersed however and many members now play SWTOR, although many members still remain on WoW, their notoriety and activity has died down somewhat.
Although much world PvP still occurs even with out the exploits of Ruinous. The Horde is generally much more successful in raiding cities and killing Alliance kings and leaders due to being more organized and in more PvP oriented guilds. However, occasionally Alliance raids on Horde cities have also taken place even though Ruinous does not organize their own raids nearly as much as before, pug groups are sometimes formed in their place.
Generally there will be at least a few players from opposite factions nearby even in seemingly remote zones. Ganking is not uncommon. Horde guilds like The Vagrants, Crimson Aegis, and Requiem (Supposed rivals of Ruinous) frequently raid Alliance areas such as Goldshire, more specifically Lion's Pride Inn, Honor Hold, Darkshire and the Alliance capital cities as well.
Kil'jaeden is generally a good environment for transfers, people looking to transfer are not shunned or frowned upon unlike other hardcore PvP servers. Kil'jaeden's population is in fact made up of many transfers to begin with after all.
