Zolerhi Vhiran is a Troll Warrior on the Moon Guard US server. He traces his bloodline back through the centuries, following a tradition of warrior-poets amidst the culture of Zul'Aman. Travelling with the shaman Dayami, his beloved and also an expatriate from the Amani capital, the two trolls now grudgingly work for the Horde and find ways to accept their new lot in life, even though they risk sacrificing their very culture to do so.

Viva Amani!
Edit
As a child, Vhiran grew up in a nationalist family within a nationalist city-state. Zul'jin is the war hero, the Quel'dorei and the Alliance were foes at best, cattle at worst, and the Horde had let their entire race down with its failure in the second war. Both father and grandfather filled the young Amani's mind with propaganda, on the greatness of the forest trolls and how both Alliance and Horde would bleed on their altars for their sins.
He grew, starting the perilous road to mastering his family's ways of sword and poetry. More truths of this New Horde surfaced however, leaving the troll to ponder the damning lessons of his upbringing. A cunning warchief, taking on the likes of the Darkspear and even the Undead, any who proved themselves worthy of strength and honor. The warrior set out to join this Horde under his own circumstances, and the recent alliance with the Blood Elves would prove to be his doorway.
Incarceration
Edit
To this day, Vhiran claims that the reason for his arrest, inprisonment and deportation to Orgrimmar all revolves around him plastering an old elven headstone with grafitti. Oddly, whenever questioned, he tells the same boring story with a grin on his face. The troll was jailed until an envoy from the Orcish capital arrived to reclaim him. Vhiran now functions as a prisoner of war and an enlisted soldier in the Horde's armies, going to where he's ordered under penalty of being behind bars again.
Zolerhi
Edit
At first, the word was just another clan name within the myriad Amani tribes. Over time, as the practice of this particular clan solidified, it was synonymous with a way of life as a warrior-poet. The children of this family are destined for the battlefield, learning how to lift small wooden "swords" before they can speak, taught in the artform of Zandali calligraphy all the while. Poems written in the Trolls' language become ways to swing a blade, as the brushstrokes become analagous to the movements of their weapons. With training, the quill becomes the sword, the paper an enemy's flesh. As of now, it is unknown whether any of Vhiran's family or their traditions survive the persistent raids into their city.
Present Goals
Edit
Because of his current social condition as a war prisoner, Vhiran isn't allowed much in the ways of goals. He hopes to buy his freedom with gold and merit from battlefield prowess, yet neither method is within sight. Ultimately, the warrior seeks to preserve his culture and to tell his children of the Amani and the history of all Trollkind. Most of all, he wishes to pass the Zolerhi tradition on.
Idiosynchrasies
Edit
- Despite his exposure to the new Horde's cultures, Vhiran refers to others as heathens when angered.
- Dayami and Vhiran have been known to incite fighting between each other, making such duels a regular pastime.
- Due to his upbringing, Vhiran is incredibly well-spoken, but doesn't seem to be able to shake his dialect's accent.
- He regularly claims that both he and Dayami are Revantusk, sent to fight on the Horde's behalf to avoid horrible situations.
- Vhiran loves rum, both for his rituals to the Loa and for himself after particularly godawful days.
