Tathlyn is one of the more prominent and battle-hardened of Blood Elves to have graced the training grounds of Silvermoon. A skilled bladesman, his considerable skill was augmented even further when he underwent the initiations into the Order of the Blood Knights, being granted the ability to utilize the Light not only to shield and assist his allies, but to make it an extension of his combative prowess. As a Knight-Lord of the Order, he has considerable responsibilities to his fellow Knights, Initiates or Adepts alike, teaching them both on, and off the field of battle.

Now that the Horde has finally pushed forward into Northrend, Tathlyn has positioned himself at the ancient Wyrmrest Temple, conferring with Alexstrasza about his failed mission to recover Vaelastrasz, a death he feels responsible for. He has once again taken up his duties fully as a Dragonsworn, seeking to avenge the death of Keristrasza, whom Malygos imprisoned, and then corrupted, forcing his hand against her. Ultimately, his goal is to see the Nexus War resolved, and to end the threat of the Lich King.
