Sisters of Elune is a CST RP server. The name is a tribute to the Sisters of Elune, the oldest religious and magical order of the Night Elves. The server was launched on January 1st, 2007, 2 weeks before the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. It was opened initially only to free transfers, in order to alleviate the population problems on some of the older roleplaying servers; Argent Dawn, Feathermoon, Scarlet Crusade, Shadow Council, Silver Hand. Since the server has been open to new character creation, this realm has become one of the few on which Horde outnumbers Alliance. New players starting out on this realm can expect to find a thriving population on the Horde side and a smaller, but very friendly Alliance. The server motto is "We Know Drama".

    • Horde: HordeRP, LookingForGroup, RPchatter, GFBLFG

Both horde -and- alliance have channels named: RPchatter ((ooc)) And RP. Mostly as a referance to who is looking for RP so you can join in on the fun :)

The Horde channel, GFBLFG, is a guild-run LFG channel. They ask that you compose yourself and keep the channel to LFG, not chatter. Respect the channel and be respected. See also this stickied post for details on each channel.

Miscellaneous Information

  • A number of people in the community for World of Warcraft Radio play on this particular server. The on-air personalities sometimes advertise this fact in their on-air broadcasts.

Role Playing Status

The RP is held extremely active by entertaining and creative in-game associations and guilds. Such examples include the Convocation and the EiA, although there is no genuine policing involved. The casual roleplayer can typically find most of their roleplay in either the Horde's Silvermoon City, or in the case of the Alliance, Stormwind City. The Council of Thunderbluff is another in game government that tends to be a more welcoming committee, as opposed to the much more disclosed and secretive Convocation or EiA. However, all three systems will appeal to seperate tastes, leaving quality to the judgement of the individual. All information regarding governmental roleplay can be found on the internal link as well as in the "In game governments" section. The majority of open roleplay on Sisters of Elune is extremely high on Horde and admittedly rare on Alliance. However, both do have active roleplay.

Server Website

The Sisters of Elune Server website was created in 2008 by the player of Phrikk (Morinuin and Calastius) with help from both Horde and Alliance Administrators.

This site is specifically for this server. It functions much in the way that a guild website or a raiding group website except it is for everyone and anyone who calls SoE Home. Whether you’re Alliance or Horde, Roleplayer or Raider this site is for YOU. The hope is that the site brings the server together as a WoW community.
