Sisters of Elune is a CSTRPserver. The name is a tribute to the Sisters of Elune, the oldest religious and magical order of the Night Elves. The server was launched on January 1st, 2007, 2 weeks before the release of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade. It was opened initially only to free transfers, in order to alleviate the population problems on some of the older roleplaying servers; Argent Dawn, Feathermoon, Scarlet Crusade, Shadow Council, and Silver Hand. Since the server has been open to new character creation, this realm has become one of the few on which Horde outnumbers Alliance. New players starting out on this realm can expect to find a thriving population on the Horde side and a smaller, but welcoming Alliance.
RP on Sisters of Elune is active for both factions, and can be found in open roleplay, public events, and within guilds and alliances. The typical hotspots for roleplay on Alliance side are Stormwind (the Trade District, the Mage District, and the Blue Recluse), and Silvermoon for the Horde. While Dalaran sees activity, some players may find difficulties with lag to be prohibitive to roleplay.

SoE Roleplaying Community
The SoE Roleplaying Community site was established to unite both Horde and Alliance roleplayers in an effort to boost the quantity and quality of roleplay on the server. They hope to achieve this by a variety of means including: 1) The planning and execution of roleplay events, 2) Information to help new roleplayers get a better understanding of how roleplay works, 3) Providing guild and organization information to the community, 4) Promoting forum based RP, and 5) Strengthening the ties of members in the roleplaying community.
SoE Writing Community
The SoE Writing Community is a message board community where players share fanfiction, participate in roleplaying threads, discuss matters involving roleplay and chat in general. It also serves as an archive that players are encouraged to use to "save" stories that are posted on the official SoE forums in the event their work is deleted or lost.
