Summary
This is the newest european RP-PvP realm around. It started just before the release of the Burning Crusade. Many guilds of other servers have moved to this one to experience renewed RP and build a vast and steady community.
The actions of many of the larger guilds has made roleplay an almost entirely guild-dependant situation - most players now only roleplay internally with a small group.
World PvP is up and coming, with some organized PvP events built in with an RP story. Horde is currently ahead in PvE progression (though only has two serious raiding guilds) whilst alliance is slightly further behind (though alliance only have one hardcore raiding guild). Alliance has a lot of strong PvP guilds though Roleplay is a lot harder to find. Both sides appear to have thriving roleplay, which can be easy to get involved with if you meet the right people, although there are still the groups of OOCers that you would find on any other RP realm.
Alliance Guilds
- The Netherstorm Conclave - This guild will revolve around protecting the Great Naaru and protecting everything Good, especially the Light and Nature. The organization will cultivate a philosophy that will represent both Light and Nature in harmony together. Blood Elves, Orcs, and all Undead will be regarded as enemies and war against them will be sacred and important.
- Forces of Nethergarde - A large end-game guild (with the largest population of level 70's at its peak), which engaged in hardcore PvE several days of the week. The guild eventually split up and its elite moved on to different ventures. Rukiia, ever the DPS Retridin, went on to co-found the raiding guild 'Kings'. Darius the Healer continued to remain with the Guild. Not much is known of its other members. Rhubarb the de facto fearless leader probably remained behind. The evil Warlock Diabolus the Summoner, and his girlfriend Lichra (not in the same guild), quit playing Warcraft altogether (though local legends foretell of his return). As of this righting the guild is a mere shadow of its former glory-days. None of the original members are part of it, but the guild serves as a sounding-board for fledge-ling alts.
- Minion of Medivh - Or rather, Minions of Medivh. The singular form of Minion was adopted so that the correct Common title 'Minion of Medivh' would appear under each of its members. A rather unique guild steeped in lore. The Guild Master Lichra presides as the 'Demon lord'. It harkens back to the old days when Medivh unleashed his terrible powers upon Azeroth. And the guild serves as a platform for reviving some of the old legends and ways. As of this writing, the guild is dormant, awaiting a possible return as its cardinal players have temporarily suspended their sourjourns through Azeroth.
- Ravens - Ravens is the biggest alliance guild in this realm. They have over 150 members the guild masters is Ravlord and Ravlordalt. It doesnt have many 70s but is one of the most powerful guilds on the realm due to amount of members.
- The Independant Yeomanry - Set up as an 'independent' army of characters across all the Alliance Races in order to defend all Alliance lands from Horde incursion. Recently has been known to apply pressure back on various Horde encampments via Raids. Currently over 160+ members. All members are expected to roleplay in /say at all times. Dorgrim is the Marshall (leader) and Wizbix is the High Captain (second in command)
- The House of Lothar - A legal and well organized guild, under the command of Danath Trollbane, who authorised Shando Custr'El (Custrel) and Loomyth'El On'Tario (Ontario) silent followers of Anduin Lothar to form it's core. Based uppon the True teachings of their mendor Lothar, they supported the prophecy of "the four fathers" and there for recognized Desydocus Seb'Ath (Sebath-guildmaster) as their rightfull leader and Siopos as his right hand since a childhood friend. The House of Lothar is known throughout the Alliance to support all unexperienced adventurers (lvls 1-40) with daily donations of armor, weapon, bag, silver coins and profession supplies through the weekly duties of its "Hands" (rank) and for its quest support through its "Knights" (rank). You wish to learn the true teachings of Anduin Lothar? You wish to support the Alliance by carrying out weekly duties? Enter this humble (RP) family and advance your way up the ranks. Long live Anduin Lothar, lion of Azeroth!
- The Golden Leaf - The Golden Leaf is the other side of The Malfurion Circle. The Circle is an union between two guilds, The Golden Leaf and The Silver Leaf, though they count as one guild, only separated into the Horde and the Alliance. The Malfurion Circle is a peaceful guild, which believes all nature is sacred, and all races should live together in peace and harmony. We are a philosophical order, mostly based on druidic beliefs. We think we all are children of nature, and none are more worth than another. The guild was found by Eladriel Goldleaf, but is not run by Yrna, healer of the Light.
