Terenas is a Player vs Environment server for Blizzard's MMORPG, World of Warcraft. This is a Mountain Timezone server. This server was one of the original servers created by Blizzard.
The realm was named after Terenas Menethil II, who was the last king of Lordaeron and the primary founder of the original Alliance of Lordaeron. Ruling for over seven decades, including the period of the Second and Third Wars, Terenas was considered one of the most powerful human monarchs in the three thousand years since the breaking of Arathor. His death at the hands of his own son ended the Menethil dynasty and deprived the Alliance of its leadership at a critical moment in history.

Terenas' population
Terenas was formerly one of the smallest Horde Servers around, but due to WOTLK and transfers offered to Terenas, the Horde Population grew.
Since April 23, 2009, Terenas has an Dropped in population. It was estimated 14,020 Characters, ( Alliance 9,029 - 64% - 56% |  Horde: 4,991 - 36%) (A to H Ratio: 1.8 : 1).
Since Feburary 9, 2009, Terenas has an Dropped in population. It was estimated 35,258 Characters, (Alliance 19,692 - 56% | Horde: 15,566 - 44%) (A to H Ratio: 1.3 : 1).
