Trollbane is an American realm opened 01/2007.
Trollbane is a PvE EST server with an average player population (21,752 players). Of that number, 17,668 (81%) are Alliance and 4,084 (19%) are Horde with an activity ratio of roughly 4.3 to 1. (Census information updated 2008-11-23) Note: These numbers may vary depending on when a census was taken.
It was populated mainly by transfers, including those from Elune, which had several guilds depart for this server.

Notable Raiding Guilds
- Since the launch of Trollbane, Fallen has been the dominant guild on the server. The only guild to successfully progress through Sunwell before the release of 3.0. During WOTLK, still tend to be on top of their game with new achievement system in play.
- Other raiding guilds that have been pushing as well are Fallen Tears (H), Forsaken Alliances(H), The Forgotten (A), and Irrefutably Insane (A).
