History

Turalyon's statue in the Valley of Heroes, Stormwind.

• Turalyon is an English Speaking European server which went live on the 11th of February, 2005. Turalyon was one of the original starting realms when World of Warcraft was released in Europe.

• The server is named after the pivotal Alliance General in Warcraft II, Turalyon, who took charge of the assault on Blackrock Spire and was key in driving the Horde back into Outlands through the Dark Portal, and ultimately later destroying it with Khadgar in Azeroth's best interests after an expeditionary period in Draenor.

• There is much dispute to who was the first guild created on the server, with both The Last Watch and Nice Guyz respectively having evidence to say that they were born on the 11th of Febuary. Whatever the result may be, Nice Guyz were first guild on Horde and The Last Watch were the first guild on Alliance.

Aramaya - Origin

• First player to reach Level 70 with The Burning Crusade Expansion pack.

Emnity - Resisted

• First Draenei Shaman to Level 70. Formerly Gornik.

Ionic - AG Praetorian Guard

• First player to level ten Level 70s; one of each class and 2 Shamans, one on Horde and one on Alliance.

Nairobi - Hello Kitty

• First Blood Elf Paladin to Level 70. Nairobi has since quit World of Warcraft.

Zombina - Dawn of the Undead

• Long standing Guild Master and founder of Dawn of the Undead who sadly passed away on the 22nd of April, 2007.

PvE

Crusher - AG Crimson Guard

• First player to obtain [Sulfuras, Hand of Ragnaros]. Crusher has since quit World of Warcraft.

Ellinya - Origin

• First player to obtain [Warglaive of Azzinoth] on the 6th of March, 2008 and the first Horde player to obtain both Warglaives, Main Hand and Off Hand on the 8th of June, 2008.

Illdian - The Shattered Heart

• First player to obtain [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] on the 18th of Febuary, 2006. Illdian eventually re-rolled on Scarshield Legion, a RP-PvP server, not long after The Shattered Heart split into the guilds Docet Umbra, Mother's Finest and Resisted.

Madden - The Last Watch

• Opened the Ahn'Qiraj gates with the completed Scepter of the Shifting Sands making him obtain the Scarab Lord title and the [Black Qiraji Resonating Crystal].

Moonstruck - The Last Watch

• First player to acquire [Atiesh, Greatstaff of the Guardian].

Rasta - The Last Watch

• First player to obtain [Warglaive of Azzinoth (off hand)] on the 4th of January, 2008 and the first player to obtain both Warglaives, Main Hand and Off Hand on the 23rd of March, 2008.

Trixta - Origin

• First player to obtain [Amani War Bear] on the 10th of Febuary, 2008, after succefully completing all 4 Timed Events in Zul'Aman.

PvP

Jul - Teddy Patrol

• First Horde player to win the Test of Honor Contest. Jul has since rerolled as a Night Elf Druid on another server.

Niar - The Last Watch

• Arguably the most hated/loved and well known player on Turalyon and certainly put the server on the map with his frequent PvP Videos. Niar was the first player to reach Level 60, win the Test of Honor Contest and the first player to reach Rank 14, Grand Marshal, on Turalyon. Niar has recently re-rolled on Stormscale, a PvP server, as an Undead Rogue named Niarreborn.

Randomized

• Horde's most infamous Level 19 Twink of The Burning Crusade who unfortunately leveled to Level 20 in most halairious, yet devasting, circumstances in Skull Rock, Durotar. Randomized eventually rolled a Level 70 Undead Male Rogue (Randomrogue) on Turalyon who later joined Nice Guyz and eventually left for Draenor for the Horde 'Breakdown' PvP Guild and finally ended up quitting WoW.
