History
Turalyon is an English Speaking European server which went live on the 11th of February, 2005. Turalyon was one of the original starting realms when World of Warcraft was released in Europe.
The server is named after the pivotal Alliance General in Warcraft II, Turalyon, who took charge of the siege of Blackrock Spire and was key in driving the Horde back into Outland through the Dark Portal, and ultimately later destroying it with Khadgar in Azeroth's best interests after an expeditionary period in Draenor.
There is much dispute to who was the first guild created on the server, with both The Last Watch and Nice Guyz respectively having evidence to say that they were born on the 11th of February. Whatever the result may be, Nice Guyz were first guild on Horde and The Last Watch were the first guild on Alliance.
Pure , on the Alliance side, has become the first guild to reach level 25 in the Cataclysm expansion.
Turalyon is now connected to the Doomhammer realm.
First player to obtain [Warglaive of Azzinoth] on the 6th of March, 2008 and the first Horde player to obtain both Warglaives, Main Hand and Off Hand on the 8th of June, 2008.
First player to obtain [Thunderfury, Blessed Blade of the Windseeker] on the 18th of Febuary, 2006. Illdian eventually re-rolled on Scarshield Legion, a RP-PvP server, not long after The Shattered Heart split into the guilds Docet Umbra, Mother's Finest and Resisted.
First player to obtain [Warglaive of Azzinoth] on the 4th of January, 2008 and the first player to obtain both Warglaives, Main Hand and Off Hand on the 23rd of March, 2008.
Arguably the most hated/loved and well known player on Turalyon and certainly put the server on the map with his frequent PvP Videos. Niar was the first player to reach Level 60, win the Test of Honor Contest and the first player to reach Rank 14, [Grand Marshal], on Turalyon. Niar has recently re-rolled on Stormscale, a PvP server, as an Undead Rogue named Niarreborn.
Horde's most infamous Level 19 Twink of The Burning Crusade who unfortunately leveled to Level 20 in most hilarious, yet devastating, circumstances by falling off the Zeppelin and gaining discovery experience from Skull Rock, Durotar. Randomized eventually rolled a Level 70 Undead Male Rogue (Randomrogue) on Turalyon who later joined Nice Guyz and eventually left for Draenor for the Horde 'Breakdown' PvP Guild and finally ended up quitting WoW.

Misc.
The first and original design of this page is created by Gryphon.
Many thanks to my predecessors: Aequitas, Tbone, Ristique/Khalo and anyone I might have forgotten who originally (Vond?) did the Guild Website list on the public Turalyon boards.
It's through the giving community of Turalyon that the information here is possible.
