General Info

Wyrmrest Accord is a roleplaying server on Pacific Standard Time, opened on 1/16/09.

• There is some disagreement as to whether denizens of this realm should be referred to as Accordians or Wyrmies.

Roleplaying on the Server

While at first it may seem that little RP occurs, it only takes a short while for a good Roleplayer to get involved in a universally connected community. RP on Wyrmrest accord is not only prevalent, but immersive and involving (when you find it). There are two distinct factional cultures (as most servers have) with the perspective amounts of RP measuring about the same, but expressed through different mediums. Both factions schedule regular RP events, and the server could always use more additions to the Roleplaying community. This is owed to the mass exodus of Roleplayers from RPPvP servers and a good number from the other Roleplaying realms. Alliance side has a great deal of public Roleplaying, especially in Stormwind city. While some of its denizens are a smidge lax in their application of the lore, it is nevertheless conducive to a good time. Joining a guild typically increases the quality of storylines one can participate in.

Horde side is slightly more clannish, your best bet here is to find a good guild, apply, and join in on the fun. There is great variety to choose from, and while you have to root out the guild that is right for you, someone is always recruiting. There is a great deal of public Roleplaying in Silvermoon and Dalaran.

• /RP and /OOC exist on both factions. /RP takes place in an unnamed bar in Booty Bay, while /OOC is pretty OOC.

• WorldRP is a second OOC channel for the Alliance.
• Hearthstone is another IC channel, for hearthstone-based communication.

• wranet is a OOC channel for the horde.
