Good server?[]
Hey guys! ive beenplaying on private servers ever since wow came out... But this december (2nd) i decided to start playing on the real servers. I am thinking of coming to this server because i saw on wowcensus that the horde was twice the size of the alliance and i want to be a human paladin so i would have lots of orcs to slay! :D
I was just stopping by to ask opinions about this server... would u guys recommend it? if not what server would you be able to recommend?

We've been growing a lot as of late, but now the Allies slightly outnumber us. But it'd be great if you rolled here, we need as many people as we can get!

Dead since Cardd left[]
Hello AoS,
Not sure who is still on here from the golden days, but it's true that AoS has been dead since late 2006, which is around when I left.
I'd like to give a huge "Fuck you" to all the mother fuckers who I would own on a daily basis.
Also, this page looks a lot nicer than when i used to manage it, props to whoever runs it now

New sections that have been made.[]
First off, a big ole "Thank You" needs to go out to Cardd for originating and maintaining and moderating the Altar of Storms WowWiki. Most of us Johnny-Come-Lately only know you from the epic thread "@Cardd, Enjoy the Video". It's become part of our server history... not just the video itself, but the names and faces that appear in this early flame war. As I have been updating this site the past week, I had been admiring the work of SideShowMel0329, not realizing until he said "Hello" on the main page, that this person was none other than Cardd. [ Click here to see his many Contributions to this site ]
I also want to thank Genisis329 who also made many Contributions to this site, updating the site for the Burning Crusade, updating the guild listing and server progression. I'd write more here, but I still am not sure who the person is, in-game.
In order to capture the "local color" I added some new sections to this WowWiki:
- Brief History: From a High Server Pop, to a Low Pop, and back to Medium, it's like a roller coaster around here! Contains some epic realm threads. This section was initially up top, "above the fold", but after some thought, it was moved down the page. Server Progression and Guild information > "Local color".
- Personalities: Members can enter descriptions of themself either as Forum Personalities, Trade Channel Personalities, or Gankers.
- Videos: Members can add videos that have been shot on Altar of Storms to this section.
- World PVP: Got videos of World PVP events you have hosted? Add a link in the format [****LINK Date/of/Event] to the appropriate category, or add your own bullet point.
- Random Links: News and references to our server, Altar of Storms (US).
- I have also added the Talk Header object to this page, so people can add comments more easily.
- Want to see how progression was before the Burning Crusade? I delved through the archive and found the Last Known Good copy of progression before SideShowMel0329 updated everything for the upcoming patch, The Burning Crusade. You can view it at http://www.wowwiki.com/Server:Altar_of_Storms_US_Pre_BC.
