Shadow Embrace is a warlock talent that adds a physical damage reduction debuff to some affliction spells.

Notes
Contrary to popular belief, Shadow Embrace still affects the bonus of Soul Siphon.
Some locks use it as PvP dispel protection, along with Unstable Affliction. Since an enemy cannot choose which magic effects they get rid of, those in conjunction make dispelling very dangerous or otherwise useless.
Changes
Patch 2.3.0 (11/13/07): This talent's effect can no longer trigger other effects, such as the effects of the Darkmoon decks.
