Shadow Embrace is a stacking warlock Affliction talent that both increases the damage done by the warlock's Shadowdamage-over-time spells to the target and reduces the effect of healing-over-time spells.
This talent plays an important part in the spell rotation of high-level Affliction warlocks. By beginning the attack with a Shadow Bolt and a Haunt the warlock can apply two layers of Shadow Embrace on the target, increasing the damage of subsequent Shadow DoT spells until the effect wears off.
