Shadow Embrace is a warlock talent that adds a physical damage reduction debuff to some affliction spells.

Notes

This talent may (at least this warlock is still confused on that matter) no longer triggers Soul Siphon; however some locks use it as another PVP Dispel protection, along with Unstable Affliction. Since an enemy cannot choose which magic effects they get rid of, those in conjunction make dispelling very dangerous or otherwise useless. {{{NPOV}}}This talent is basically useless outside of PVP (unless it does in fact trigger SS).

March 19, 2008: This talent still does trigger soul siphon. The changes made in 2.3 only affect procs such as darkmoon cards and effects based on spells landing.
