With the addition of Naxxramas, this item has raised in usefulness and value tremendously.
The Shadow Bolt almost completely behaves like a normal Shadow Bolt (Rank 3). It equally benefits from spell damage and it can proc Aftermath and on-spell-hit-effects. However, it is not capable of proccing Improved Shadow Bolt.
