This item drops from Sulfuron Harbinger in the Molten Core. It is a very underpowered item for the area, so it is sometimes called "vendorstrike" or "nexusstrike". It can transform into a separate weapon, Thunderstrike.
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich KingEdit
This weapon has a Wrath of the Lich King remake called [Reinforced Shadowstrike]. The polearm drops from Onyxia's Lair. Instead of changing back and forth from Shadowstrike to Thunderstrike as the original, this weapon instead creates it's counterpart [Reinforced Thunderstrike] by using it, it can only be used once to make Reinforced Thunderstrike.

Patch changesEdit
- Patch 1.8.0 (2005-10-10): Shadowstrike and Thunderstrike will now remember the enchantments and durability data they possessed when they transform.
