The Shadowtooth clan is the only known dark troll tribe. They aided the Night Elves, the Alliance and the Horde in the Battle of Mount Hyjal.W3 Night Elf 7 It may be the only tribe of dark trolls in existence.[1]

In Zul'Aman there is an item that can be droped called 
[Shadowtooth Trollskin Cuirass]. It may be a reference to this tribe.
