The Shard of the Green Flame is an off-hand item available exclusively to warlocks by finishing the quest [55] Kroshius' Infernal Core.

Compared to other off-hand items of around the same level, the lack of stats like Spirit and Intellect on the Shard becomes apparent. A warlock looking for a decent off-hand may want to consider alternatives like the [Magmus Stone] or the [Enthralled Sphere] (both from Blackrock Depths). Both have a wider variety of stats.
