Sharptalon is a named blue hippogryph that roams the forests of Ashenvale near the Dor'Danil Barrow Den^{[75, 75]}

, south of Splintertree Post.

Prior to the Cataclysm, killing it was one of the objectives of the removed quest, The Ashenvale Hunt. That particular quest is no longer required, and the claw can be turned in to Senani Thunderheart, now found at Silverwind Refuge.

NotesEdit

• Prior to the Cataclysm, an easy way to kill Sharptalon as a Horde player was to tap it, then run over to the Forsaken camp near the Dor'danil Barrow Den and have the guards kill it. The Forsaken Camp has since been removed, so this method no longer works.
• Broll Bearmantle once used a hippogryph feather to summon Sharptalon, and escape from Thunder Bluff.
