Shimmerweed is a quest item found in Shimmerweed Baskets among the Shimmer Ridge trolls or dropped by them for The Perfect Stout.
Notes
- Shimmerweed used in beer-making. It is grown on Shimmer Ridge by the Frostmane trolls.
- Though the dwarves use the weed in beers, the Frostmane may imbibe it in other ways (such as eating or smoking).
- Shimmerweed is often used in jokes referring to it as a Warcraft version of cannabis.
In Warcraft III
In Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne, the Orc Far Seer Drek'thar asked Rexxar and Rokhan to retrieve several bushels of Shimmerweed for a potion he was brewing in Durotar. Rexxar and Rokhan had to fight Thunderlizards to retrieve this item.[1]
