Shirt

• A shirt is a wearable item that has its own dedicated slot and does not have any functional purpose besides decorative appeal or bragging rights.
• Tailors can make a variety of shirts, but they can also be purchased from vendors, found as drops, or even received as quest rewards.
• A few shirts have personal value as parts of interesting sets of clothing, or as proof of obtaining a rare drop or rare quest, but most are considered junk to non-roleplayers.

• Most shirts do not bind at all and may be purchased from vendors, other players, or the Auction House. However, there are a few Bind on Equip(BOE), and three Bind on Pickup (BOP) shirts that are available to both factions: [Captain Sanders' Shirt] (completion of quest chain initiated by a very rare drop), [Master Builder's Shirt] (very rare Blackrock Depths drop), and [Sawbones Shirt] (very rare Scholomance drop).

• The [Sleeveless T-Shirt] is the only shirt obtained through PvP.
• The [Master Builder's Shirt] has the highest item level of all available shirts.
• No uncommon or rare shirts exist.
• The [Epic Purple Shirt] is the only epic quality shirt that exists in the game (excluding any GM or PTR shirts). It is also the only available shirt to feature an on use action.

Bind on Pickup shirts

• [Captain Sanders' Shirt] - Reward from the Westfall four part quest chain  [16] Captain Sanders' Hidden Treasure initiated by a very rare treasure map drop.
• [Master Builder's Shirt] - Rare drop by Fineous Darkvire in Blackrock Depths.
• [Sawbones Shirt] - Rare drop by Doctor Theolen Krastinov in Scholomance.
• [Fine Cloth Shirt] - Reward from the Loch Modan quest  [17] A Hunter's Challenge.
• [Epic Purple Shirt] - Reward from the TCG loot card "Center of Attention", from the Blood of Gladiators set.

PvP shirt

• [Sleeveless T-Shirt] - Very low drop rate on Alliance corpses in Alterac Valley. The only shirt obtained through PvP. "On the collar it reads, 'Inspected by Earl Z. Moade.'"

Other notable shirts

• [Bold Yellow Shirt] - Sold only by Lisbeth Schneider in Stormwind City.
• [Deckhand's Shirt] - Dropped by Southsea Freebooters in the Barrens
• [Stylish Black Shirt] - Sold only by Lisbeth Schneider in Stormwind City.
• [White Tuxedo Shirt] - Found in Easter Eggs during Noblegarden.
