The shredder is an impressive goblin mechanical creature which is usually piloted by a goblin. Shredders are used for lumbering, but they can serve in war because of the solid metal construction of the machine and the great saws they wield. The first machine designed to mimic the humanoid form, goblin shredders use the steamsaws attached to their arms to cut down lumber at an incredible rate that is unmatched by peasant work crews. It moves at 10 miles per hour and has a crew of 1 usually designed for goblin-sized creatures, though larger version have been built).^{MM&M 186 M&M 187-188}

This invention allows a single goblin to do as much harvesting as ten field hands.^{WRPG 182}

The Super Reaper 6000, seen in Stonetalon Mountains and around Venture Bay may be an upgrade of the Shredder.

In Wrath of the Lich King Edit

The shredder appeared in the Wrath of the Lich King beta as a Siege Vehicle in Wintergrasp, but has yet to appear in release. It is a ground anti-air vehicle that fires rockets and can rocket boost into the air to reach air vehicles or jump over walls. It essentially acts as a personal armor suit — if the suit is destroyed a player can jump out and keep fighting. It has a close-range melee attack but is vulnerable to siege vehicles.

World of Warcraft: CataclysmEdit

In the goblin starting zone of Kezan, goblins will play a football inspired game in shredders named Footbomb.

A neutral melee-capable unit that can harvest up to 200 lumber per trip to tree area (much more lumber than a regular worker). One Shredder could essentially replace a player's entire lumber economy.
