Shy-Rotam is a named level 60 cat found in Winterspring.
Shy-Rotam (aka Shy'Rotam) is summoned by using [Sacred Frostsaber Meat] at the Stone of Shy-Rotam. When her health is low, her mate Sian-Rotam comes to her aid. Storm Shadowhoof wants Shy-Rotam killed.
When tamed, Shy-Rotam is identical in appearance to Rak'shiri. They are based on mount skins, thus when viewed in the hunter's Pet window, the model is placed lower than normal pet models, since the viewer is leaving room for a rider to be shown.
According to a quest given by Rivern Frostwind, Shy-Rotam is queen of the frostsabers of Winterspring. She was saved by Tyrande Whisperwind from one of the Frostmaul giants. This story seems to re-affirm the idea that Frostsabers are sacred to the Night Elves, and that Shy-Rotam help fosters the tie to the Night Elves.
