Shy-Rotam (aka Shy'Rotam) is a named level 60 saber cat found in Winterspring. She is a gargantuan frostsaber female that rules a pride of sabertooth cats at Frostsaber Rock.WRPG 213

History

Around 4,000 years ago she was saved by Tyrande Whisperwind from the frostmaul giants. Since then the frostsaber have been allies of the night elves[1] (this seems to re-affirm the idea that Frostsabers are sacred to the night elvesAPG 202).
Rivern Frostwind continues to protect her and the frostsabers from the frostmaul giants by sending Alliance heros against them.[1]
Storm Shadowhoof wants Shy-Rotam killed and is sending Horde heros to hunt her down.[2] Recently he has started recruiting Alliance members for the task.[3] Shy-Rotam is summoned by using [Sacred Frostsaber Meat] at the Stone of Shy-Rotam. When her health is low, her mate Sian-Rotam comes to her aid.

- Needs to be slain for the quest [60] Shy-Rotam.
NotesEdit
- When tamed, Shy-Rotam is identical in appearance to Rak'shiri. They are based on mount skins, thus when viewed in the hunter's pet window, the model is placed lower than normal pet models, since the viewer is leaving room for a rider to be shown.
